Great work on 1.1.7, OnoSendai. The new developments in Indigo are quite exciting.
I was testing out the use of 32-bit EXR files as displacement maps and I ran into a bit of a snag. I'm not sure why I'm getting large distorted polygons at the edge of the asteroid object in this image. At first, I thought I might have subdivide_pixel_threshold or subdivide_curvature_threshold set too high, but even with both dropped down to zero, I still get the artifacts. Any ideas?
If it helps, I'm using Indigo 1.1.7 on Windows XP Pro. I've got a 3.0 GHz dual-core Intel machine with 1 GB of RAM.

Incidentally, I don't see the artefacts if I just apply a subdivision smooth without the displacement. I also considered the possibility that it's a problem with the map (there's a texture seam near the area where I'm seeing the artefact). I tried moving the camera so that I was looking down on the seam, though, and I got no artefact at the seam -- only at the new edges of the object. So it does seem to be some sort of issue with displacements and faces whose surface normals are perpendicular to the camera direction.
Very nice update!
I don't know if you've noticed or if I'm doing anything wrong here, but I can't get indigo to network render my scene. It's lit with a EXR environment map. The funny thing though is that the scene works just fine if I remove the "-n m" flag.
The error message indigo gives me when i start the network render is:
"IndigoDriverException: No emitters inserted in scene."

For me a day only have 24 hours, and it seems like Ono´s workingDeus wrote:Better start to write down whats IN the manual. Its a shorter list
every minute of them...
So I gratefully take whats given to me for free, and what´s missing
will probably come in the future when time is....
Thank you Ono for a great job !
