If it is, I wouldn't be surprised. Apple seem to have placed almost all their faith in their unix foundation (nope, I don't really know what Unix is), where as microsoft seem to be a lot more open minded as to their threats facing their OS. Realizing how many people use their OS, they've evidently invested alot of time in making it secure. Getting a windows machine infected without any user involvement (aka, somoene actually going to a malicious website and letting it download a virus) seems to be much harder. Apple seems to think that Mac are completely secure just by their nature. I guess all those endless security updates payed off.

Ugh, im dirt poor
I only have $85 in my wallet right now. As far as I can tell, home premium upgrade is a little over 100 (plus tax.) It's funny.. I got a job so I wouldn't be "broke all the time." Im still broke except I just buy lots of stuff now.

Then I'm wondering why you're interested in Win7?! Why don't you just stick to the running OS
that you're right now? I'm still using WinXP and I'm very happy. I do graphics and use the tools
I need for it. I don't need to "look" at a fancy OS all the time. I'm happy if I don't see it at all!
Because when I can see "it" then I'm not working and that means I can do something else.
take care

Put that $85 in a tin and next time you get paid put it all (less reasonable living expenses) in the tin and hope that one of the final Indigo 100 licenses sticks around long enough for you to grab yourself a copy. Then rinse and repeat for Win 7. At least you know Win 7 will still be there in a month or two whereas Indigo 100 won't.neo0. wrote:Ugh, im dirt poorI only have $85 in my wallet right now.
