i really really love indigo! and as you will know, there will be a big "but" :)

but: i am getting more and more in this nice situation to do more and more commercial 3D work. and because we are very
convinced of indigo and paid money for it :) , we started the first projects with indigo. it ended up in a small pain in the ***, because of changes from clients, you cant do in photoshop or by any other hacks. so waiting a whole night for a rendering of 4000px or sometimes more with 2 slaves will kill your and the clients deadline very fast :)

sure, unbiased and rendering times will never be good friends and this is absolutly not about dropping indigo, but everybody will be happy about every tool and possibility to achieve what you want faster, or? so think about, what will be possible with tools like this. or invisible lights for studio-setups. its biased, but i dont care :)

i dont know what the guys are currently working on, but there could be some space for growing.

by the way a small request: what about a checkbox to reset all cameraparameters changed in indigo to get back to the original position and so on? or did i missed it ;)

cheers, carsten

Yes, this can really be a painful experience :/
But there are a bunch of tips & tricks to optimize your scenes for faster rendering you'll learn over the timer.
My (biased) favorite is to render in 8000px, then slightly denoise that image and resize down to 4000px ;)

Also learn to use the region rendering in Indigo to render specific parts of a image and compose that over the old "final" in PS. This can save a ton of time for some scenarios :)
