I'm trying to create a material with a blend shader that uses the new normalWS() or Theta functions but I'm having trouble.

For example, if I use this as the blend shader:

Code: Select all

def eval()real:
dotk(normalWS())
I get a constant blend value for the whole model. (using the Indigo Material editor BTW)
Is this in an issue because there is no vec3 pos parameter in the shader function? maybe a bug?

These are great functions, though! Thanks for adding them!

Hey guys,

Nick mentioned today that Indigo 2.4 should be quite a bit faster than 2.2 so i benchmarked it.

Turns out that on my Core 2 Duo it is 20% faster. 8)

No, just the normal CPU Indigo.

I tested PT but MLT should also be faster. Its a general speedup not related to PT or MLT.

20%!? Sacrebleu! :O

Could you elaborate on which kind of tests you've made?
