You can't say that, I disagree completely. Functional design is a modernist point of view... it's over...

That doesn't mean form shouldn't follow function at all. Non-functional design is absolutely useless. It's called sculpture (not to bash sculpture as an art, just in terms of function and use). The fact that he's making this by hand is anti-Modernist in itself.

Hola.
It's been a long without posting. Quite busy with the table..
This is a piece of furniture I actually made 2 years ago. The real pojects was so crazy as I din't use any screw. Only joinery and glue. I think it was my first decent model in sketchup so now I just had to bevel and texture it. The lamps is not modelled by me (was a bit lazy). I think all renders are lightened whith an exr. Hope you like.
