I have to say I'm having a hard time believing its fully CG.
If it is it is some of the best I have ever seen. The texturing, assuming it's real, is truly amazing

edit: damn just had a quick look at the other videos - this seems to be real and a truly astounding bit of work - makes either want to get better at CGI or just give up! :?

Fantastic quality.

I think that it proves a point: Today's production renderers are all capable of photorealistic quality. What really does achieve photo-realistic level is the quality of the textures.

but in deeper view, its not that hard as it seems. There is a huge amount of postproduction in all ways.

Absolutely stunning. A masterpiece of light, space and music. I´m sure Kubrick dreamed about this future of cinematography.
Thanks!

Bah I was going to post this!

Amazing video indeed. I've been following this project for several months, it's nice to see it finally completed, and well worth the wait.

really awesome work... keep in mind it was done by a single person!

Thinks I absolutely don't like is this fast & nonstopping change of dof in the beginning of the movie... getting seasick of this pseudo handcam amateur style...

Also the change from the authentic "story" to a quite absurd flowing water spheres and lamps in the end is not fitting this good into it... but it plays well with the mood for sure :)

Love it! Amazing work. All in all well crafted and put together with a good eye for mood and color.
