Gozilla : this is more than a simple rendering ! This is great ! I don't know if the roof is realistic (I mean if it wouldn't collapse in real world), but the building is beautifull.
Jeff :

You said modeled ?

In Sketchup ??

Wow !

Nice rendering Godzilla.
Maybe you try using a shift lens? Then you could avoid the somewhat extreme perspective effects making the right side of the house look sloped.

simple promotional item for a ficticious company- school assignment. My first decent model, I think!

@TerraMatrix
They are nice! But why they are look like plastic, I mean - not metallic?
Tried to make a laser with the help of .IES, but the result doesn't seem to be correct

I wanted them to look like white powder-coated wrenches, but I don't think I got the material quite right

Maybe a slight bump would have helped.

I just started with the house...
I also think its quite dark.... mostly due to Camera tonemapping... simply desaturate your image a little

Some more light sources could help here too.
here my morning approach... a lot of texturing still to do:

@ZYX: really nice cloth material. Th eTexture may be scaled to be finer, but the mat looks really warm and soft.
i modeled cinderalla-shoes for a logo. render time for this preview was a little less than two hours on a slow core duo and its slave (core duo as well).
I just remembered glass renders back in the old amiga-days, i was happy with some MEGABYTES of RAM, and a picture like this took about two hours to render (with cinema4D). Now my computer is about 1000 times faster (just guessing), I have 2000 times the RAM and should be getting the picture in a second. Some things just don't change. Funny isn't it?
Amiga... that was a way of life.... Those were the years, and oddly Indigo gives me back the feeling that I had when dwelling into 3D 16 years ago, those long hours awaiting for one picture to finish rendering.

Now you know how I feel when im rendering something with indigo.

Wow !
Yup!, that pine tree was modeled in sketchup. I cant find the right tree to use in a scene I had in mind. So I ended up building it. Shown below is a variant of the same tree.
