Actually Stinkie your images remind me of photographs. There is a 'look' or 'feel' to them that I see in a lot of current photography.

It's a testament both to your skills and to Indigo to be able to produce digital images that don't 'look' digital.

PS: I think part of the charm in your images is that they are out of focus. Maybe a bit too much OOF?

Hehe - yes many days in my youth was spent examining the techniques used by Hamilton. You wouldn't believe the number of hours I spent pouring over his images.


Actually in truth I did. I used to work for one of his agents and often saw his work. At the time he had a really distinctive style. But the fact that you know Hamilton's work may be giving something away about your age? you aren't 75 years old are you?

Yeah ... Haven't found the proper balance just yet. This may sound strange to you, but I'm confident rendering offers far more possibilities than 'merely' emulating photography. Mind you, I'm not saying trying to achieve photographic quality is a bad thing - there's certainly valid reasons why one would try to do so. I am just pointing out rendering as such is a autonomous medium.

But even D.Hamilton got his shots in focus.........

I find them very inspiring, and each one of them has a peculiar feeling. Congratulations!

I see small computing artifacts, though. You can see them in the black part of the glossy support, mostly in the second image..
