Yes I figured it's all solid modeled but how did you do it inside C4D?

oh:)
the lillyornament i made poly by poly. then i used lathenurbs for the glas-basemesh. (uniform subdivisons for spline). I picked out a mirroring and rotatable segment and sew up these with the ornament. after optimizing i put all inside hypernurbs.
down u can see the mesh.

Ooooo, nice!
May I ask how you did the wire shot? Special plugin?
My wire shots always end up as messy "somethings"

Hey suv,
Your 'tests' are starting to remind me of the good old doctor's tests (man...I miss that guy). Your tests are better than my best renders
Is it possible to share the dispersion model in 3ds format?

Thanks Whaat !
Yeah, the Doc, I wonder why he left?
Anyway, here's the scene. Just make the borders and floor reflective and put a light inside that small tube in the middle. ( I used a light material for the inner face of that tube). And of course, give the triangle a specular mat with some dispersion.

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
There are 3 tonemapping methods: Linear, Reinhard and Camera
Linear and Camera are "absolute", they don't change when you change the brightness of your lights.
Reinhard is adaptive, it changes with the intensity of your lights... No matter how bright they are, your pic will always end up with the same brightness.
Thats why your lights always look "like mildly-lit street lamps"
