Well what i personaly would do is model the water drops, but you are right we dont know if it needs more. And more does not mean better all the time
Last render looks very good aswell :)

since the water droplets are perpendicular to the surface it should be possible to make a displacement map for it...

Hmm im having issues with getting bubbles in the water volume now :/ im correct in saying the precedence for the bubbles needs to be higher than that of the water... they are just not showing up :/

Lol the whole world googld water jug and found the menu jug ;) i spose im just lucky i posted my wip first :P or at all, woulda been funny if this thread wasnt started and everyone just submitted the same model. what a laugh. anyway i think im going to leave this as is, maybe just update with the fresh render, nice and baked, like a good cookie. 7000 spp but there are till some small issues with the nk mat at the top there, a bit grainy, some post pro when i get home will be called for i think.

anyway, how about you guys submit some of your wips? would dig to see what you guys are up to.

Regards
Mat

Hehe, I chose another, too... :-)

currently working on the scene lighting and materials.
Small preview of what I have in mind:

Limes and water missing yet, of course! :-D
Are there NK-materials for glass and water, too?

@matsta: Great work, if you give a little brown or yellow tint to the water then you have... TEQUILA! add a pinch of salt on the side, so we all can get drunk

hey zeit,

good start, those limes look a bot odd, mine were just simply mapped and textured. no sss no nothing, i think they look fine. what are you using sss for?

Hey David,

I actually wanted to use SSS on my limes, too, so im a bit interested in how you did it :)
are the "flesh" and the paring seperate meshes, the flesh using an SSS material and the paring a diffuse or phong?
