In SketchUP when I select a face then right click the drop down pops up and I see the Skindigo selection option. Typically, for example, I will see something like the following and click on “Edit” and can go on into Skindigo Material Editor and do whatever I choose to do related to the specific material.
Skindigo
Edit “0057_DarkKhaki{DIFFUSE)
Quick Export
However, sometimes I only see the following and there is no material to Edit
Skindigo
Quick Export
My question is, in the 2nd example, why do I sometimes not not see a material to edit and if it is not showing what should I do in order to edit that specific material?
Skindigo Material Editor Question
Re: Skindigo Material Editor Question
Hi,
The recommended way to edit a material is to open the SkIndigo material editor and then select the material you wish to edit using the SketchUp materials window.
If there is no option to edit material when you use the right-click context menu, that means that the group, component, or face that you have selected does not have a material applied to it. Open the Entity Info window while you are working to see what I mean.

Re: Skindigo Material Editor Question
Thanks Whaat,
Ithought the material was already there and could not understand why it did not show up. Also I was not clicking the specific mat'l in SU but doing it took care of all
