I'm using Cheetah3d on OS X. I export to 3ds or obj and use indigo explorer to render (still figuring out the latter program). Rendering using crossover works great on my quadcore 3 GHz IntelMac Pro!!
Regards,
Peter
edit: Dumb typo. Changed MHz to GHz (thanks Silverman)
