Ok, I think the problem is that indigo.exe still has a dependency on the VS8 C runtime. I'll rebuild it to get rid of that.
In the mean time, use indigo_console.exe, or move the files
Microsoft.VC80.CRT.manifest, and the ms....dll's from v1.0.8 dir to the v1.0.9 dir.

Do you use the express edition?
If yes, how do you managed to compile the 64bit version with it?

Hello,
Nick: I tried launching the indigo_console version 109 with diffuse transmitter test scene but it failed with the same error. I also tried new version 1092 and both console/gui programs still fail with "this program has encountered an error and needs to close" event. Hope this report helps you.
