hey u3dreal im ready to update to max 9 and im curius about your exporter...run in 3ds max 9 or not?if not may by delay the update before i make some mistake with the new install off max....thnx for info! :wink: 8)

Nope, it's not working ... sorry to say that. And as far I know u3dreal
will not upgrade the exporter to work with max9 in the near future. ;(

edit: Anyway, you could use daros lil super tool. I use it alot in
the last days, because it exports the .XML much faster and is pretty easy
to use ... I'm impressed daros, it is really useful! ;o))

uupss this is very bad news.....
and im not sure if i can have 2 version of max in the same pc....in the past i have some problems whith reg keys....anyway....thnx man :roll: :roll: :evil:

daros' tool, you mean the Indigo explorer?

As I said in my edit, ... just try MatadorLight for Indigo and see
if it fits in your workflow. Two versions of 3dsmax shouldn't be
a problem on one PC ... but if you had problems, the risc is yours.

i just downloaded web install form max 9 and it is working without a
problem... why shouldn't it... :roll:

what problems do you have ???

OK it works at least with the 32bit edition...

There shouldn't be such a difference between them....

Maybe they came also up with 64bit maxscript... :lol:

Oh no not another language..maybe i''l have to code two lines at once..

No really it should work.. maybe something different..
When does the error accour ??

Did you try a very easy scene ??

No worried we will get it to work.. i think a friend of mine just updated..

Well, ... it seems to work until I press my M2I button,
you know the one that calls the macrosript ... then I
do get the error ... I'll check this when I'm back. ;o))

Hi Ibalouka,

well if the script runs fine from tab it could be a problem of the
macroscript.. maybe something changed there..

Does it also work for you psor ?? Kosmo ??

What kind of error you get as it should not be encrypted since the script
runs fine ...??

Sorry Gregor, I had no spare time to fully check it. I did a quick test
and I was wrong. The error occurs when I hit render in the M2I panel.
Then I do get an information that tells me something like:

"Unknown faceted blahblah..." I'll check it later today and write
it down ... ;o)

btw. it was the 32bit version that I tried Indigo on, not the 64bit as
I stated bevor, sorry ... :P :D ;)

i'ts been a while since i 'Indigoed',
the last version i tried was the 0.5 & M2I 0.46 i think.
using the last exporter (0.615 beta2) i can't choose the nk. metal
from the material slot...
is it me, dooing somthing wrong, or i shuold change it manualy i the
xml. file.

when you create an Indigo metal material in 0.615 beta2 all the nk materials should be available from a drop-down list.
