Post by tibicen » Sun Feb 03, 2008 9:40 am

When i export indigo tells :
ModelLoadingStreamHandlerExep: Normal was not unit length (in element "mesh" around line 461092

How can i find this mesh? How can i fix it to render?

I'm not sure, but try to select your whole scene and press Ctrl+A :)

I had a problem like that recently,
in the IGS file, a bunch of normals where 0,0,0.

The way I fixed it .... redid the operations I had done that caused those results !!

I was carefull the 2nd time to do extrude, etc, one face at a time and with the object rotated so that the face I was working on was 'flat on screen',
it did work that time ... !!??

It might be interesting to try to reproduce the problem in a simple scene,
to figure out what NOT to do !!

I know this is not very helpfull, but I still thought it ould help  :D

sounds like objects with no geometry at all ;)
use the outliner to find and eliminate them...
