Help Please ?

Its my first time using Indigo...and it keeps giving this error messege...
what can i do?

Welcome aboard Floyd! ;o)

You're using the 'wrong' Indigo version with an exporter that is for another
version. Download Indigo v1.0.6 and you should be set! You'll find it under
the "Indigo News & Announcements" section.

That must be the 3rd or 4th time this week I've seen a new user use mismatched versions of exporters and indigo.

Is there a problem with the main site (off-forum) navigation and the downloads offered there? It seems that it's too easy to pick up the wrong versions of stuff.

exactly... main site need more instructions about downloading the right version...

and it needs some tutorials about installing...maybe there is...but i couldnt find it... =)

Well, I'm sure this problem is a consequence of having the exporters maintained by the community and not the developer of indigo.

The documentation / installation instructions for the skindigo exporter are probably on this forum. I'm not a sketchup user, so I don't know exactly.
It's up to the developers of each exporter to write their documentation and make it available.

There are no installation instructions for indigo itself as far as I can tell, should be simple enough to unzip it somewhere and just use it. I think most people can manage this without too mush trouble

we should definitely have some sticky threads about install and tutorials...
i didnt have any trouble while install but had some while i was picking the right version...also i found some great tutorials about skindigo but now i couldnt find them again...
