testrooms

Post by eensfufzich » Wed Dec 19, 2007 1:36 am

Hello indigoboys n indigogirls:)
On "fused" recommendation, i would like to show you my latest indigotests. modeling in cinema4d, export with cindigo 1.0.1(by the way, thanx again fused:)), rendering with indigo 1.03. Every pic rendered overnight, at least about 8h per pic on my core2duoE6400. In the boxroom i attempted using ies-files within indigo. For lighting i used blackbody-emitters. Finaly, i used violet for tonemapping and glares. c&c welcome

I really like those. But they deserve longer cooking.
How did you do the candle flames? Models? Maps?

Now that we've seen the photos when are you going to post the renders? Indigo is one fantastic renderer 8)

Nice work 1.50 and welcome to the Forum :)

Disabling Hybrid mode for interiors can maybe (!?) help to kill the noise faster.

Maybe your planks on the ground need the Bump value reduced... you can also try to use your bump texture for exponent maping (=> Glanzlichkanal in C4D).

I really like the skewed camera angle of the first 2.
that second one achieves a lot compositionally with a relatively simple scene.
really good.

very nice first renders :)
The camera angle is quite interesting, in all of them.
Though, the last one maybe is a bit empty...

HybridMode is already disabled, thanx for your hint concerning the exponent maping.i will give it a try during feasts-enough time for extended rendering.
