can someone look at this .skp file and tell me why the textures won't update?
originally the texture was all light wood, when i changed the edges to a darker word the renders won't reflect my changes and still render as the lighter version of the wood? i've had this problem in other files also.
any ideas?

hey xrok1! where've ya been?
it's a little known issue in SkIndigo that you can't have two materials with the same texture filename. Otherwise, one will get over-written . Just export the texture image by right-clicking on the material in the paint bucket, change the name of the filename, and then load it back into the material.

i've been taking a break, thanks for noticing. you've made some awsome progress in the last couple months. Kudos.
thanks for the response, i figured it was something like that but i only tried save as .skm and hadn't tried saving the .jpg.
...wait a minute, where do i save the .jpg to i can't seem to find any others in the SK folders?

This issue will be resolved in the next release.xrok1 wrote:Whatt, would it be possible to get skindigo to automate this process by checking if a common texture filename exists for 2 materials and creating a second one for you?
Actually, I have now made it so that you can use almost any texture type that SketchUp supports (GIF, TIF, BMP, PNG w/alpha, etc.). SkIndigo will export all textures as JPG so that Indigo can load them properly. The only limitation is that grayscale (single component) textures will still not work. I am unable to convert grayscale images to RGB color space. Hopefully, Ono removes this limitation soon.
