Let me guess, you save your 3d stuff on your system disk and chose to re-partition/format you drive during new os installing?
I always have a sperate partitions for different things, one for swap file, one for os, one for programs, one for 3d stuff and photos, one for games, and a seperate disk for backups. You only learn the hard way!

how about the moderator taking the valid materials from here and placing just the valid materials to a locked thread in a more convinient place?

that way you guys could keep bugging me about my fly scat fetish and spare the rest of the community.

- here's an updated version, which has a fixed sphere, shows different exponents and looks cleaner (rendered 2h faster than the other one - it's in 0.9t7, now :) AMAZING speedups! :D
