Bloody renders

Post by DaveC » Thu Apr 12, 2007 4:05 am

I wanted to make a nice blood render. Sounds like an oxymoron. Anyway, here's the results:

did you model the drops or did you use a fluidsim?

The drops look a little overstretched for my taste. The end of the pipette should be much wider and the glass thicker. That will also make it easier to make the drop thicker at the base.

Why did you put the images in the library instead of attaching them? They are just tests, right?

They're not tests. It's not glass, it's silver. It's not real. They're modelled, not fluid sim. They're in the library because they are my pictures and they are how I designed them to look. It's not a pipette, it's a hypodermic needle.

There. I'm done.
