Nice!

Where do the black areas in the first render come from? Is it a normal problem or is the right foot too close to the ground?

Did you forget to turn on smooth in the second render on the right object?

Also the left object has definitely normal problems on the right side!

I like the lightin in the first render a lot better. How did you do it?

Nice renders! 3 minutes each, as I can read from the posting times^^

Bg.lit scenes are good for some effects, but normally, they destroy the whole scene...
In this case how ever, they are quite ok^^

If you have any questions to blender - just ask!
Try the Hotkey Ctrl+N and Ctrl+Shift+N
(Recalculate normals outside / inside) If that doesn't work, search for intersecting faces, but I don't think, that's the case, here ;)

Why don't you use C4D? There is an exporter, now, I thought?

I love blender.

It gets stronger and stronger.

Just some more good poly tools like better booleans and bevels would be great.

and maybe some NURBS implementation fro basic CAD work.

The animation system is getting very good and all the fluid stuff you can use for
indigo to create the mesh for liquids ;)

how did you set up that blurred reflection? Noise map?
