Absolutely beautiful materials! Would you mind sharing the XML for the fabric material and posting the alpha map? I am trying to create realistic curtains and shear fabric materials for use in the new version of SkIndigo with limited success. I don't quite understand your method. Is there no alpha map in the left image? or is it uniform gray?drBouvierLeduc wrote: Second is a some fabric test :
On the left is a blend material of textured diffuse and gold.
On the right the same with some alpha map.

And now, for some resurrected thread :
I'm ashamed, I didn't had time to any 3d stuff recently. All those scenes are still waiting to be finished.
So I thought I could post some small thingies before finishing all that stuff.
So here is a "cafetière" for a start.
Model isn't by me, I found it on www.evermotion.org
I blenderized it, I'll see if I can share it on the Blender Model Repository.
Mmmmmh, I can almost smell the coffee...
With a few things on the table, that scene shouldn't be to hard to complete.

Hey, thanks for the nice comments !
So, enough with architectural vizualisations for the moment, I've decided to make a real scene, with characters and everything.
I've got a rough idea of the final result at the moment, it will involve strange liquids in bottles, a coffee machine, and lots of living wooden figurines.
Here they are :

Those wooden toy renders are indistinguishable from genuine photos. Great work, Doctor
