this may well evolve into a competition scene..

modelling is not finished by any means.

any comments?

white tiles looks better, as well as the liquid looks more real in the white tile versioin

I prefer the lower pic with black tiles, but the liquids are looking better in the white tiled version...
Maybe the white version will get better, when you render it longer...

another test shot.
here i've got a very thin SSS 'sample' between two glass slides.
the 'sample' interesects very slightly into the slides.
I just want to check, the precedence of the sample should be less than that of the slides, yes?
