Quick question: How would you recreate something like this? It's a water wall - basically water runs down a stone face and looks pretty.

At first I was thinking materials, but then perhaps modeling the actual water and ripples, and applying a water texture. Any ideas?
Waterfall/Water wall material?
Re: Waterfall/Water wall material?
I would try to use the image of that waterfall as a Displacement map that I would put on a box that is positioned over that stone wall.
Give that box a water material and see what happens
The tricky part is to give that "waterbox" some displacement that looks "wavy" enough to look like water flowing down the wall, but also thin.

Yeah, paint the displacement for the general forms and then add a high-rez bump map to get all the tiny rivulets and ripples. Should look great with a basic water material then.
