Indigo Renderer 3.6.2 Beta Release
Re: Indigo Renderer 3.6.2 Beta Release
Thanks a lot Ono, sweet enhancements. I will gladly resume the works on 3D woods.
I am assuming that "displacement shaders" include bump shaders.

Bump height as a function of pos_os won't work quite yet.CTZn wrote:Thanks a lot Ono, sweet enhancements. I will gladly resume the works on 3D woods.

Can't save my works at any picture file extension (jpeg, png etc) not even as igi...
Re: Indigo Renderer 3.6.2 Beta Release
Out of interest, how much do you guys focus on pure rendering speed improvements/optimisation on each release etc, rather than this stream of new features? Or is a minor speed increase an inherent part of each new release?
Not that I'm complaining about new features, they're all very clever and awesome, but from my point of view what would make the biggest difference to my workflow is being able to render cleaner faster.

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.6.2 Beta Release
Hey guys sorry: which external mesh formats are currently supported?
Re: Indigo Renderer 3.6.2 Beta Release
wrong, see two posts belowCurrently .obj, .3ds, .ply, and .igmesh.Pibuz wrote:Hey guys sorry: which external mesh formats are currently supported?

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.6.2 Beta Release
I just tested 2 3ds models and Indigo tells me it is a non supported format.. Maybe a bug? Or something going wrong with the two models...

We don't support .3ds any more.Pibuz wrote:I just tested 2 3ds models and Indigo tells me it is a non supported format.. Maybe a bug? Or something going wrong with the two models...

Any updates on this? Can't wait to try double side mats out.OnoSendai wrote:Hi Oscar,Oscar J wrote:Is a Blender exporter under development?
We will update the Blender exporter soon to support coating and double sided thin materials, maybe this week.

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.6.2 Beta Release
Hi,
I need an Button in the Cindigo-Material-Extras, that automatically exports
the backing-size on the used bitmap-size (first found bitmap in
colour-chanel) of the texture (see attachement "backing_in_used_Bitmap-size.jpg")
Is it possible in Cindigo 3.6?
I haven't installed it yet, because not plenty of time...
Can someone of you freaky guys look for me...
Thanks
Best regards,
Johannes

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.6.2 Beta Release
and why based on that? what if there is no map at all for the color, but some bump to bake? and why exactly do you ask here for that and not in the c4d exporter subforum???JH-CAD-Architekt wrote:I need an Button in the Cindigo-Material-Extras, that automatically exports

Re: Indigo Renderer 3.6.2 Beta Release
We still haven't got any exporters that can use these new functions. When will they be available?

I want to change the Coating and double sided thin materials to have roughness as a parameter instead of exponent. After that we can work on exporter support for them.
