Cuda Help with 2 cards

Post by kdarius » Fri Nov 04, 2011 5:27 am

Hey team,

I came across this issue and was hoping you could help. I have recently had a need to add a 3rd monitor. So i took apart an older computer and used its Nvida Quadro FX 1700 in my new computer. My new computer already had a Quadro 5000. Now it seems when i open up Indigo Render with the two cards in my computer Under GPU Acceleration it lists both cards but they have OpenCl beside them. Why is CUDA gone? I dont even care is indigo uses the FX 1700 but i want it to use cuda for the 5000.

Thank you,
Darius Kirschner

Are you drivers up to date? This is the most important thing for GPU accel, esp after installing new hardware.

Better get them yourself, I'm not sure how often Windows Update does or if it even updates them at all.

The samples/s measurements might be different for the GPU mode, because of the non-circular aperture used in that scene.
