There is an exporter for blender 2,57 and my new pc will...

Post by lucasb » Sat Jun 11, 2011 2:29 am

I'm new at Indigo Renderer, it interested me very photorealistic renderings by, and I was wondering if there is a blender exporter to 2.57 and a computer with an Intel Core I7 Sandy Bridge 3.40GHz Quad Box 2600, Kingston 8GB DDR3 1333MHz Ram and Nvidia Geforce TI GTX 550 1GB 192-bit GDDR5 will promote quick renderings at Indigo. How long it would take about a render with these settings? :?

Simple scenes are fast, complex scenes are slow.

It depends on your project.

Your computer is faster than mine ;)

Thanks and if the project is arquiteture, a simple house with furniture or a kitchen, these types of things, it will render fast?

edit: sorry lucasb I mixed topics, I rewrote this post

Basically scenes will render faster if lighting is direct, slower if the light has to bounce much to light some parts. Faster with mate materials, slower with glass. An exterior will almost always be faster than an interior.
