Simple Renderings Thread
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
also in Cindigo possible to use the custom gradient Shader, that generates all the ISL in the background and has convenient Shader Controls in your 3D App.
(at the moment only 2 colors & U, V and Circular mode)

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
i finally managed to create that gradient. do not know how, however...
in the first version it was put on an extruded plane, and now it's on a flat cube.
so maybe i messed up the normals or smth like that...
anyway here it is, nice and smooth.
btw, can anyone tell me, what do i need to do a glossy surface of that wall (like here - http://kino-govno.com/movies/tron2/gallery/images/10)
and another little question: to make such a scene less grainy i have to render it for about 3-4 days, right?

Material and cornel box tests
HARIBO bears in white and red, sorry renders are noisy but I had not to much time for bake.
2 Materials available in material library on website

cheers!

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Another render. Everything made by me. Discovered a new technique for making stars. Used a basic brush and adjust the scattering and size jitter. Then duplicated part of the layer, set it to "screen" mode, and moved it around.

Any one can figure out which kind of material this budhha is made of?
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
I would say its a really clever blend of a specular and a green phong material. not sure what the red stuff ispixie wrote:Any one can figure out which kind of material this budhha is made of?

Well, I was expecting more from the guy who made it all possible! :pfused wrote:I would say its a really clever blend of a specular and a green phong material. not sure what the red stuff ispixie wrote:Any one can figure out which kind of material this budhha is made of?

I was playing with the new network rendering feature, and since I had done another material test it has used the phong one on the render node, so I let it cook more... after all the rubber was gone, one might as well see what comes out of it.
They are two scenes, but as the only changing thing is the material it does this blend.

Or should I say Ich bin ein bischen aus Deustrchland gekommen.
Although no one would have guessed.. I don't really like beer (I am more of a whisky person) and I am not a very serious kind of person.
