material maps

I'm using an indigo diffuse material with a png image map. don't see the bitmap in the render. is there something i am missing?

are you placing your textures in c:\Indigo\textures ?
It's where all your max projects' textures should go (although U3dreal said that latest version exports textures no matter their location).

On the other hand, convert your pngs to jpgs and replace your materials with them. I've had several issues with pngs not showing up properly :wink:

it generates the image on a box and sphere, but it won't generate the image on a mesh surface ; rendering in the same scene so no other perameters are different.
any ideas?
Both render ok using the max renderer.
