It's almost done. Will upload the new Maxigo soon.
This new aperture/glare stuff is really cool and powerful btw
I've been fooling around a lot with it lately.
Here's a small test image:

Nope.
2 different scenes with 3 meshlights in different distances from the camera.

The largest glare is the closest one to the cam.

ah, I see

so, the closer and brighter the light source and the higher f-stop, the stronger glare and bloom
What about ISO and shutter speed? do they also affect bloom and glare?

Yes, i think they do.
Lower ISO/shutter values should produce smaller glares.

that's good to know.
Such infos should be in a sticky thread

Maybe Tutorial-section "how to use glare", as many already asked for something like this

What are your settings for the lower glare pattern? Or are you using an aperture image map? Can you share?

Sry. I kind of missed your question
There is nothing special.
No external aperture image. I used Indigo generated aperture shape with 4 blades and zero angle.
And i used this as obstacle map:

Ah...so it seems that the obstacle map is key to get these cool glare patterns. Thanks, suv!
