Re: IndigoMax 0.6.3
Hello there,
Could you do something about the Blend + Null material.
Null material is not present in the selection, you have to use an external .igm, but the result give always an invalid one.
It was working in the past.

Ok, I think we'll add Null as a material type in IndigoMax.Jay-ko wrote:Hello there,

Re: IndigoMax 0.6.3
Nice to see some life in Max land !
I can't figure out how to use activeshade. It doesn't let me to select Indigo as an activeshade renderer.
Also the selection of GPU's is not stored. I have all my GPU's marked, but I keep geting an error message that i need to select a GPU for rendering.
Using max 2016 here.

Re: IndigoMax 0.6.3
Multi-materials and emitting properties are not linked.
For example here, the result in the model2 is nothing than default "None" emitting properties in the material (be careful to the uids)
so total black image in Indigo.

Re: IndigoMax 0.6.3
We also need 3dsMax Standard maps supported as well, like previous iterations of Maxigo. For example, Falloff maps, Tiles, Gradients, Colour Correction etc.OnoSendai wrote:Ok, I think we'll add Null as a material type in IndigoMax.
(Sorry - it's probably a bit annoying to keep having to refer to Maxigo, but given that IndigoMax has been kicking around for nearly 6 years https://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vi ... =9&t=11300, and there are features here and there that are missing or undeveloped compared to Maxigo, it's only fair.
The problem is that IndigoMax is the only Max exporter that fully works with Indigo 4. Maxigo does but with .igs tweaking, and the export times are horrendous. So we (or I) are tied into using IndigoMax, and then not having features that were present in its predecessor.
Given I just bought another license for my architectural practice to use Indigo with 3dsMax last week [and they were equally impressed with what it can offer], I fully support Indigo and you guys at Glare. 3dsMax and Indigo has been my workflow for the last 7 years. I know the Glare team isn't huge, but the Max exporter needs more attention and quicker development - if anything to compete with Corona and Vray.)

can you send a max scene showing the problem?
Thanks.
Re: IndigoMax 0.6.3
OpenCL device selection should be fixed for next release.
Re: IndigoMax 0.6.3
Hey there!
Now you have everything to do the test yourself
Notice that If you clikc on "Emission" in the material editor, 3ds max open the following pop-up error.

Re: IndigoMax 0.6.3
^ I've managed to created the same crash in Max 2013.
Sometimes also when creating an object, Indigo/Max will crash if there is not an "Edit Mesh" modifier on top. "Vert index out of bounds".
