Fatal error: sceneloaderexcep: failed to load xml doc from path '1' failed to open file line 0, column 0.
and when i uncheck the default xml - i get

Ah i think i forgot to change the code for the "none default"
I'll have a look at this..
Edit -- fixed....

I'm getting a few of these errors. I'm importing dwg files into max then
adding materials. Are there line types/ meshs that it doesn't like?

Heya skook,
just guessing here ... do you use the realDWG addon for 3dsmax?
If so, while import do NOT use "... Blocks as Node Hierarchy", use
"Entity" instead. btw check the "Weld" option too. ;o)
take care

@skook
The Real DWG addon is for 3dsmax 8 with sp3 ... it will help to
import DWG files better, especialy from AutoCAD 2007. Can you
show a pic of the "melted/notThere" Stuff, please? Sounds like
coplanar faces to me ... ;o)
take care

hi psor, i've used a indigo diffuse material and target direct. it looks mostly right apart from the front face. the model actually came from revit exported as dwg. when you import it with entity checked it converts and groups the layers to meshes.
Maybe there's other options i need to play around with.
