We're working on it. I hope that in early 2010 we can get a small beta group together to test the first 2.5 integration code.

I hope that blendigo will be able to run on Blender 2.5 soon because I'm writing a chapter (for a book that will be about Blender 2.5) and It would be nice to work make some screen shots :D.

@ozzie
screenshots shouldn't be a problem, I can easily give you those - however there's likely to be layout and other UI changes before we see a stable 2.5 exporter.

when's your publication deadline ?

Hello Dougal,

What's up with blendigo for 2.5 ? I know you don't have a lot of time (even for the new version for 2.49 ^^), but well ... I'm working on a scene with blender 2.5 (so much better) and I wonder if Blendigo could have a 2.5 version before the beginning of June (deadline) - even alpha version ?

Cause if it's not possible, well ... I would have to change my renderer for this project xD (but I would like to know it before I have made all the materials :-D)

The exporter for 2.5 is currently in private alpha test, a public beta should follow when all major features have been implemented.

Initial feedback has been encouraging, and I should think something will be available before June.

thank you very much for your work dougal, it's fantastic !

I compile 2.5 every day (I know it looks strange for a real project but ...), and the 2.5 is really awesome :-D

Yup, it feels so nice to move to a brand-new codebase :) [although that can bring brand-new bugs with it :evil: ]
