Big Numbers Toolkit Test

Post by Lord of the Rings Junkie » Thu Jun 19, 2008 3:57 pm

A lot of you probably already know about this, but I just discovered an awesome script called Big Numbers Toolkit (BNT) that allows you to easily manipulate large numbers of objects. This is just a quick test render that I did with Indigo after completing the tutorial from the PDF documentation.

The scene consists of 1,200 cubes! Anyway, just thought it was a cool render to share.

Damn, that is cool! With a few added details this could look like a city built from building being built on top of other buildings in a mountain-like fashion. Or maybe its just my imagination

Is this BNT thing kind of like a super-sized version of the array modifier?

Not really. It's more like a super-powered version of the randomize loc/rot/size script.

Oh ok well I'll try that out, when I'm done with lighting tests and such. :)
