Problem with Glass -like Material

Post by Lanky_Luigi86 » Wed May 28, 2008 10:46 am

So I sucessfully calaborated blender 2.46 and blendigo,
But when I try rendering my material with indogo, I just get a black outline.

It worked before under almost the same circumstances though.
Here's my material, I switch the renderer to Yafray, then choose Color Glass. I disable Ray mirror and also change the mirror color.

but when I render, I get the same thing that I said on the second line of this post. And I did convert the material to an indogo mat through blendigo...

Somebody HELPPPPP!!!!!!

Thanks!

Can you post a picture of your problem? more than likely you have normal smoothing problems - add an edgesplit modifier to your mesh.

Make sure that your glass has thickness, and that all your normals are pointed outward. The wiki may be of some help.
