hey guys
ok so wednesday comes and i have got a hand in for friday... so i get home turn on my pc, click on the blender shortcut and check the console loading up. blender window loads. then... nothing. blackness. no menus no splash screen no nothing. and it doesnt change. think it wouldn't change if i left it for the rest of time. i really have no idea why this is happening. bear in mind that yesterday night my blender was working 100% now this. i have tried re-installing. still nothing. could it be my pc settings?
thanks alot heres a pic:

As Vista is a 64bit system, you should download this version

With my XP, I have to Download the other one...
so your Downloadpath should be
python-2.4.4.ia64.msi

It's not a python problem, you don't need python for blender to load.
Not sure what though, looks like an openGl problem, but I'm buggered if I know what, Sorry.
