It's a good idea, but before reinventing the wheel you should have a look at the X3D open standard. It's a royalty free, ISO-ratified format for easy exchanging 3D models, visual effects, etcetera. Afaik blender already has an exporter, but no importer yet.DaveC wrote:Yeah, I'm probably pushing my luck a bit.
