Sure. Indigo runs fine on my iMac.
I may not have paid enough attention to your post where you ask how to create the location file

I am not really sure you need to create that when using the newest Blending, which for mac is 2.4.4. I am sure it was needed when blendigo did not have the field that allows you to point to the correct executable or better Package in mac terms.
So assume the indigo application package (indigo.app) is in the "Applications" folder on your mac then type "/Applications/indigo.app" into the field. Blendigo will then know where within the Package the actual Indigo executable is.
If you put the Indigo and Indigo Material Editor into a subdirectory called Indigo within the Applications folder then try this:
/Applications/Indigo/indigo.app
I am at work and not currently on my mac, so please forgive me if all the above don't work.
