for reference Dougal2 this is what I have on Win7 x64 - seems to rule out a OS change?

Yup, the installer is supposed to write those keys.
And the installer always requests admin privileges, so it usually works :)

You may get the same message that the indigo executable could not be found, but the reason is not related to a registry key setting as there is no registry in OSX.

On OSX the Blendigo exporter is looking for "indigo.app". Depending on where you have installed indigo you may have to modify the search path in the "system" tab. (I believe. I am at work right now so I can't check).

I keep different versions of Indigo in separate folders within the "Applications" directory.
So, for example one possible entry into that field is "/Applications/Indigo 2.4.13/indigo.app"

If you apply that to your situation - provided you have Indigo installed :wink: - it should work.

Since the problem is resurfacing again, I have to mention that I actually reinstalled my setup lately.

This is what I installed :

Windows 7.0 64bits
Blender 2.49 64bits
Blendigo 2.4 Stable Update #2
Indigo 2.4.13 64bits
Visual C++ redist

At my first attempt to render with Indigo, I got the exact same error message so I had to come back to this thread to find out what to add in terms of keys.

You know, you always have to reinstall when you don't really have time to take notes of error messages... But I I got an error message during installation somewhere telling me I was missing Visual C++ redist.

Just a hunch. Not sure if Visual C++redist is required for Blender or Indigo but if it is Indigo and I tried to install Indigo before Visual C++ redist :

1. I than install Visual C++
2. I than reinstall Indigo (but Indigo discover that some keys are there so does not install other keys)

This is quite a long shot and I am most probably confusing the fact that it's Blender that require Visual C++ redist.

But Dougal, I'm sure you will correct me in a flash! :wink:

No, I think it is most likely that Indigo needs the VC redist.

I also suspect that this is a bug in the Indigo installer, because it is not writing the registry keys after a failed install ?
