Thanks, typing sss in google just gave pages and pages of social security services and such... :lol:

One don't has to be a rocket scientist to know that that has nothing to do with 3D rendering.. 8)

sss, subsuface scattering, is used for materials like wax, skin, and jade. check out the recent skin is fun or other sss wips.

as for documentation for blender nodes, yah, there realy is none. having simple tutorials for blender nodes would not suffice, as they are like a visual and artistic programing language. there use realy relies on imagination and creativity. No tutorial can give you that. to get the hang of blender nodes, i recomend just playing around with them alot. i recomend trying out Mix nodes and vector curves and normal nodes
