Error Message?

Post by winnabago111 » Thu May 13, 2010 8:52 am

Sorry for the mass of messages but I've seem to figure out answers right after posting. But this time I'm getting an error message no matter what I do. It says.

IndigoDriverExcep: SceneLoaderExcep: The Mesh 'Mesh.12' tried to use the material 'BODY' which has not been defined.

Any help. Could be that I went from Indigo 2.2 to 1.8.

Check to make sure that you have a material called 'BODY' defined in Blendigo or else delete all dependencies/links to such a material (for example, in blending materials, maybe one of the materials is referring to BODY even though such a material doesn't actually exist.

It only doesn't work when I have an igm assigned. When I change it from external to phong it works.

Is it possible you have to match the material name inside blender to that of the one specified in the .igm?

Oh, I never thought about that. I'll try that out.

That worked thanks guys. I guess Indigo 2.2 doesn't need a material to be named the same.

Yeah, I think there have been some optimizations with external materials since the earlier versions. Some things are still a little unsafe, but it's getting better.
