Blendigo not installing correctly?
Blendigo not installing correctly?
Blendigo randomly pooped out on me and stopped auto-running (It said it could not locate Indigo.exe?), so I un-installed it, reinstalled it, and nothing changed. I then Uninstalled all Indigo-related things on my computer, reinstalled them, and it still didn't work. This is the error I get when I try to switch to the 'Render with Indigo' Script.

Re: Blender not installing correctly?
Hey Godzilla, try to manually install indigo. You don't just need the blendigo script, but also two (? I am at work so I can't check it quickly) folders containing whatever but also the missing image. You'll find them somewhere in the \appdata\blender foundation\.blender\scripts folder.

What do you mean manually install indigo?...Polinalkrimizei wrote:Hey Godzilla, try to manually install indigo. You don't just need the blendigo script, but also two (? And I know I don't just need the blendigo script, but everything seems to be there...

And shouldnt blendigo be installed in the Program Files path of Indigo, not the Users\(My name)\appdata\roaming path?...

Re: Blendigo not installing correctly?
I meant manually install Blendigo of course.
And I know my post doesn't make too much sense, but it worked in my case. I had the same error and noticed that blendigo installed itself in the \appdata...\ directory, not in program files.
I just copied it manually to the blender folder in the program files and now everything is fine...

Re: Blendigo not installing correctly?
If you upgraded to the latest version of blender i do believe it requires Python 2.6?
benn hired a mercenary to kill my sig...
Re: Blendigo not installing correctly?
If you're like me and you tend to click through install programs without looking at anything, you may have missed the part where it asks you for the blendigo install directory, which for some reason thinks blender is in documents and settings instead of program files...
no need for manual install.

Re: Blendigo not installing correctly?
We have an installer update that will be released this week some time.
That may fix some problems people are seeing.

Day 2 without Blender or Indigo..
My mouth is dry.. My eyes are sore... I can no longer remember what color the blender logo is.. and that scares me. Was it blue? red? perhaps I will never know.

Re: Blendigo not installing correctly?
Ok, well I have the Blender issue sorted out (Finally), but the Blendigo install issue still persists.
I get this error.
My Blender.exe file is located in C:\Program Files\Blender...
Although this isn't the default blender directory, It should still be able to locate it, shouldn't it?..
Benn, in the next release of Blendigo, could you please make it so that you can specify the location of the Blender Scripts folder at the Indigo folder manually? It would save a lot of people a lot of aggravation, even if it took the extra 10 seconds to specify the directories.

Re: Blendigo not installing correctly?
The next installer will give the option to set the path yourself.
