We should so create a "databse" or main page with all/most indigo parameters tested at different values. It would i think, be extremely helpful. Maybe a group of us could get together and work on that as a sort of community project.

Most of the parameters where already discussed in a huge thread.
The problem isn't the "what do they do" but the "what's the ideal range for them" - because Indigo changes it's ideal behaviour from release to release a bit. (Whenever there is a bugfix or speedup...)
You need to re-figure that out for every release...

Edit: Oh, you meant just about tonemapping.
Well, that's Trial&Error for most, anyway. Often also via saving an igi and editing the tonemapping in Violet afterwards ;)

Latest update. Added lights in the tunnel. Added a building on the other side of the same tunnel. Changed camera angle.

I'm very unhappy about how the lighting of the scene turned out to be. But due to extremely long render times I have been unable to fix it. Well my biggest problem is with the windows on the adjacent building. They...well I would've liked them to have fuzzier edges and be a little whiter without illuminating the building too much.

Violet 1.0.3 http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/fo ... php?t=1973
same 64-bit http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/fo ... php?t=3428
Java-Version crossplatform alpha 0.4 release http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/fo ... php?t=3628 (If you try that last one, backup your igi in order to save yourself from having to render it again ;))

Thanks for the links, but I had to dowload the alpha release because the other one wasnt available (prob deleted from server or something).

But I'd really like to know how to improve my scene though. If you need the .blend files, request them :D

I'd request them... But I need to do a system-reinstall. (After ~ 3 clicks in Blender (sometimes one, once it was 7), the system falls back to reboot without saving or error-message. Interestingly, it doesn't even want me to do a chkdsk on the next reboot, what it usually would do...)
