well some things I noticed looking at it quickly... but then I get things wrong often

1.the scale of the scene is like 286m a side for the square floor..
2.one of the glasses has subsurf 1 and the others 2
3.the geometry at top of the glass is perhaps a bit sharp
4.some of your settings are off particularly MNCR and LM prob
5.I am not sure why you have lamps in there but...

I have a render going atm to see how it turns out but not doing anything about no.3
ok well I have slightly different materials and both panels lit but I dont see the issue here

btw I couldnt see the water mesh anywhere was there a problem with that perhaps?

Hey Big Fan!

Thanks a lot for taking a peek at it. To answer your questions...

1: If you look at the scale factor I have, it should be 0.01 (or 1 BU = 1cm). Besides, would the floor plane have anything to do with it?

2: Yes I know. I was messing with different SubSurf levels to see if it made any difference. It didn't.

3. I know about that too. I was more worried about the sides of the glasses.

4: Cool! Can you tell me what the settings are supposed to be and why? I tend to just leave things at the default settings. Other than scale.

5: The lamps where are there to do some simple BI renders. Nothing to do with the Indigo render. Take them out if you wish.

You seem to be doing something right as it already looks much better than mine!
Thanks again!

ok well for some reason I didnt have the 0.01 scale value come through for me..

MNCR should be 1000, LM prob 0.4, and maxchange 0.01 -these are the defaults.

I really dont know why you are getting those effects sorry, but it doesnt seem to occur for me
I'll try rendering your settings and see what happens

edit: ok without letting it render too long I do see some reflections at the edges but nothing quite like your first post..
I cant see any reason for that if this file is the same as that one...if it isnt
perhaps a freak of geometry and lighting making internal reflections or something :?
