Specular, glossy etc. How to?

Hi, im using indigo 0.8 about 2 days and i tried to add/make to objects glossy, specular diffuse and etc. Ive readed some tutorials but i don't understand them so here is question can someone explain to me how to make it?

Hey Tom... welcome to Indigo dude! :)

The most important question for helping you, is the 3D app your working with,
and the Exporter (version).

If you don't understand the Tutorials.... öhm.... hmmm....
The Tutorials are made for being understood by newbies , so give it a second try! :wink:

Here some general tips:
For a glossy specular material, use the glossy_transparent material and control the glossyness by the Exponent value... the higher this value is, the sharper the reflections are. The IOR inside the medium of such a material Value defines the amount of reflection, set the precedence to 10 for glass!

Ow my mistake i forgot to write it.
I use BlenderToIndigo08S_r58 exporter for Blender, ye i know tutorials should help greenguys well ill try read them again.

In version 06 was so easy i just increased the specular etc. in blender and exported them and started to render, but in 08 there is more to do and its kinda complicated well thanks for respond anyway cheers

I'm no BlenderHead, but I know that atm for Blender 3 Exporters Exist.
Perhaps one of the could fit your needs :wink:

Indigo 0.8S Blender 2.44 Exporter

BlenderToIndigo
