bmp are much too big, and there are some problems, using them...
open them with any piceditor (even paint is possible, but not the best choise) and save resave them either as PNG or JPG, as neepneep said.

BMP files are stored bottom-row-first, so that's most likely where the flipping is coming from. I converted the image to png and the render worked. Simply replacing the image in the material definition with the original bmp flipped it in the render.
So technically it's probably an Indigo issue...

yes, maybe...
but you never should use bmps, as long as you have the possibility to convert it to a better image format (which should be the case from defaultly installed systems, already.)

It works now, thx to all. I used the bitmap only for a quick test, for final renders i don't use bitmap.
