Post by danyolgiax » Wed Apr 11, 2007 10:19 pm

Hi,

i've an icoSphere modelled in blender between 2 boxes... i want a perfect smooth sphere so i rename Sphere.004 in Sphere.sphere.004...

Export Blendigo 0.7t7 ... start render... and... the sphere is bigger than in blender editor!!!!

why??!?!?!

Why don't you name it just Sphere.sphere?

The size of a sphere primitive in indigo is dependant on the object size. So if you scaled the sphere in edit-mode, it will be too large in the render afaik.

the .sphere part has to be at the end to make it a perfect smooth sphere. ie; sphere.004.sphere as opposed to sphere.sphere.004

The size of the sphere primitive has nothing to do with the size of the mesh. If you bring up the transformation properties (press N) in the 3D window, you can set the size of your sphere by changing the scale. Scale is the radius of your sphere primitive.

If scale=1, primitive radius is 1 meter.

Hope that helps.
