Some newbie questions

Post by FeliceMente » Sat Sep 23, 2006 1:29 am

I'm new to Indigo, and just started testing it.

I have some questions:

1) Can I use it, someway, for animations?

2) When using the network render, can I set a queue of different jobs?

3) Is "lens radius" parameter, for the camera, equivalent to a real camera F-stop aperture, or wha?

4) can I render image with no dof (I mean, completely IN focus)?

Thanx

I'll try, in my own ignorant way... :)

Yes, but has to be done manually. (Tho the blender exporter has a button for exporting animations - just haven't tried it and don't know how/how well it works.) AFAIK, there's a way to set a time limit on a render in an ini file somewhere - not sure about this, tho.

Not that I know of, ATM. However OS batch files/scripting is possible (along with the above time limit setting?) I would guess...

I believe its analagous to lens aperture. Its actually been changed to "aperture_radius" in current versions, I think.

This should be possible with the proper aperture setting, just as in regular photography. Couldn't tell you what that might be, tho - perhaps others here have a better idea?
