I have a dual xeon that is capable of 64bit. The IT guy here put the 32bit version of windows on the machine. Does that mean i am limited to all 32bit applications, or can i download and run the 64 bit version of indigo, and if so, is there an advantage to doing so?
Thanks!

you can't run 64 bit apps under a 32bit OS.
you're stuck with using 32bit everything unless you get linux 64bit/xp pro 64bit or vista 64bit.
