llvm jit compiler integrated in indigo for C++ shader arch?

Indeed... some kind of JIT shader compilation would be very cool.
I'm not thinking about shaders just now tho, gotta finish this bi-dir redesign first :)

Yes, finish this bi-dir redesign first is very good news :). Dramatically faster Indigo will be so cooooooooool :) !!!

I think you'd want to compile to a bytecode representation offline, then do JIT machinecode in the renderer. Otherwise you have to fire up the renderer just to find out you've made a syntax error in your shader!
